Our tours can be completely bespoke or you can choose from the suggestions above. We can incorporate historic churches and castles, moorland and hills, gardens and beaches to vineyards, breweries and  traditional cider farms creating a bespoke and personal experience.

This year we have also added three individual full day Poldark tours for which Barry your guide was involved as a driver for the main characters so knows of all the hidden locations which cover the length and breadth of our beautiful county, so even if you have not been captivated by the BBC adaption of Winston Grahams popular series there is still plenty for everyone and you will see the best of Cornwall, from Bodmin moor that is a remote, bleak heather covered upland to the tiny picturesque smugglers coves of the far West.

If your stay in the West Country involves more than one accommodation why not use Cornwall Discovery to transport you on a leisurely tour to your next destination.

Can we bring our dog?
Sorry but our tours are not suitable for dogs.

Do we need to book in advance?
Yes all of our tours need to be booked in advance; you can call us on 07877303749 or email:

What vehicle will we be in?
For our tours we use a Land Rover Discovery 3 renowned for safety and comfort and the winner of many awards.

Will we need money?
There will be complementary bottled  water on all our tours although you will need money for any lunches and any entry fees.

How do we pay for our tour?
We take payment by cash, cheque, PayPal, or bank transfer in advance.

Where do we meet for our tour?
In most cases you will be collected from your accommodation although it is possible to meet you at an airport, railway station or other suitable meeting point.

Are the tours suitable for children?
Yes there is no age limit, although for the very young we do not have child seats.

Can we extend our tour?
Yes it’s a bespoke service so we can happily extend your tour at an hourly rate as long as if fits in with pre booked tours.

Do I need special footwear?
You can do as much walking as you choose, although some of the best views and vantage points are only a very short walk from the vehicle so comfortable suitable footwear is advised.

Do you operate throughout the whole year?
Yes, our wonderful county has so much to offer it would be a shame to miss it. Watching the Atlantic storms battering the coast in mid winter from the comfort and warmth of the Land Rover can be exhilarating.

Are you licensed and insured to be our tour guide?
Yes I am fully licensed and regulated as private hire driver by North Cornwall District Council.
